Position Summary

ITA is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Program Manager to lead, manage, and oversee key educational and development programs in Islamabad and across field locations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in program management, strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and team leadership, with a strong track record of successfully delivering large-scale projects.

Location : Islamabad

Education: Master’s degree in Education, Social Sciences, Development Studies, or a related field.

Experience: 5-8 years of experience in planning, delivering, and managing large-scale educational or development projects in Pakistan, in line with ITA’s programmatic standards. Proven expertise in full-cycle project management, including team leadership, quality assurance, stakeholder engagement, procurement, reporting, and financial management.

Skills & Competencies

  • Proven experience managing large-scale, multi-stakeholder projects.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Familiarity with donor requirements, reporting, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and evaluation of ITA programs in Islamabad and field locations.
  • Develop and implement program strategies, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Manage program budgets, timelines, and resources efficiently.
  • Lead and mentor program teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with government, donors, and community stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, donor requirements, and quality standards.
  • Oversee reporting, documentation, and data-driven program assessment for impact measurement.
  • Travel extensively to field sites across Pakistan to oversee program implementation, support teams, and engage with local stakeholders.
