Senior Project Control Engineer - 100% (m/f)

For our office in Cairo, we are looking for:


Senior Project Control Engineer - 100% (m/f)

The Ideal Candidate will have at least 7 years in project control experience with strong understanding of scheduling, cost control, progress monitoring, and reporting to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with contractual requirements.


Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and update project schedules using Primavera P6.
  • Establish project baselines for schedule, cost, and resources.
  • Monitor project progress and analyze schedule performance (critical path, float, delays).
  • Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, dashboards, and look-ahead schedules.
  • Perform schedule impact analysis, delay analysis, and recovery planning.
  • Track project costs, budgets, forecasts, and cash-flow.
  • Implement and monitor earned value management (EVM) metrics.
  • Coordinate with engineering teams to ensure alignment with the project plan.
  • Identify project risks and opportunities and recommend mitigation measures.
  • Review contractor schedules and progress reports for compliance with project requirements.
  • Support claims, variations, and extension of time assessments.
  • Ensure adherence to company standards, contractual obligations, and reporting procedures.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience using Primavera P6 (mandatory) for project planning and control.
  • 7 years of experience in project controls, planning, or scheduling (depending on project complexity).
  • Strong knowledge of project scheduling, cost control, and reporting techniques.
