Senior Project Control Specialist

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain project control systems and procedures in line with project and client requirements.
  • Lead the preparation and management of detailed project schedules using appropriate planning tools.
  • Monitor project progress, identify deviations, and recommend corrective actions to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Manage cost control processes, including budgeting, forecasting, cost tracking, and variance analysis.
  • Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure accurate progress measurement and reporting.
  • Prepare and present periodic project reports, dashboards, and KPIs to senior management and client stakeholders.
  • Analyze project performance using Earned Value Management (EVM) techniques.
  • Ensure compliance with Saudi Aramco standards, project specifications, and contractual requirements.
  • Support risk management activities by identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risks.
  • Lead and mentor junior project control staff and planners.
  • Interface with client representatives to ensure alignment on project controls and reporting expectations.
  • Participate in project review meetings, audits, and workshops as required.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related discipline.
  • Experienced in project controls within the oil & gas industry.
  • Proven experience working on large-scale gas plant or EPC projects, preferably with Saudi Aramco.
  • Strong expertise in planning and scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6).
  • Familiarity with Saudi Aramco project procedures and standards is highly desirable.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural project environment.
