Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage day-to-day site engineering activities for high-rise building projects.
- Coordinate with Project Manager to ensure timely execution as per approved schedule and budget.
- Review IFC drawings, specifications, and contract documents to ensure compliance.
- Supervise structural, architectural, and MEP works to ensure quality and adherence to standards.
- Monitor construction progress and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
- Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to resolve technical and site issues.
- Ensure implementation of approved Method Statements, ITPs, and project quality plans.
- Review and verify work measurements and support the QS team in valuations and variations.
- Ensure compliance with local authority regulations and client requirements.
- Oversee high-risk activities such as high-rise formwork systems, tower crane operations, concrete pouring at height, and façade installation.
- Monitor resource allocation including manpower, materials, and equipment.
- Conduct site inspections and ensure HSE standards are strictly followed.
- Participate in project meetings and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.
- Ensure timely closure of RFIs, technical submittals, and inspection requests.
- Support project handover, testing, commissioning, and snagging processes.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
- 8–12 years of experience in building construction projects.
- Mandatory GCC experience in high-rise building projects.
- Strong knowledge of high-rise construction methodologies, structural systems, and sequencing.
- Familiarity with local authority regulations and international construction standards.
- Experience in managing subcontractors and multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong technical, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Primavera/MS Project, and AutoCAD.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
