Ain Consulting Engineers (ACE) is currently seeking a Sr. Project Engineer to join our dynamic team in Egypt.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support the Project Manager in developing project plans, schedules, and resource allocations.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary design teams (architectural, structural, MEP, infrastructure, landscape, etc.) to track progress and ensure deliverables are met.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including meeting minutes, correspondence, action logs, and progress reports.
- Monitor project timelines and follow up with teams to ensure adherence to schedules.
- Working collaboratively with the project teams, including the project manager, architects, and engineers to coordinate design modifications and ensure alignment with the client’s requirements.
- Attending meetings with the client, tracking and reporting the project’s progress in the form of design and comments trackers, minutes of meetings, and weekly and monthly reports.
- Assist in managing project information flow through collaboration platforms
- Support in preparing project budgets, cost tracking, and financial progress reports.
- Assist in reviewing consultant proposals, variations, and change orders.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and company standards.
- Attend project meetings and assist in preparing agendas, presentations, and follow-up actions.
- Support communication between the project team, clients, and external consultants.
- Follow up on client comments, design approvals, and authority submissions as directed by the Project Manager.
- Creating organized and comprehensive project presentations and reports for the clients’ submissions (InDesign, PowerPoint).
- Performing other duties assigned by the Project Manager in an orderly and efficient manner.
- Collaborating with design teams to create and manage BIM models, families, and materials, and coordinating with other disciplines.
- Assist in implementing project QA/QC procedures and verifying that deliverables meet quality and technical standards.
- Identify potential project risks or delays and escalate them to the Project Manager with suggested mitigation actions.
- Ensure all documentation and drawings comply with regulatory and company requirements.
- Coordinate day-to-day project activities and assist in managing project logistics.
- Support the preparation of internal reports for management review.
- Facilitate collaboration and communication across disciplines to resolve design or coordination issues.
- Contribute to process improvements and documentation consistency within the project management team.
- To take proper precautions and avoid any unnecessary risks while carrying out your tasks
- To report any hazards/defects in the workplace, equipment, tools, etc., which might endanger safety and health

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (architecture/master planning) or related field (master’s degree preferred)
- PMP Certificate or equivalent
- Min. 20 years of experience, with planning/time programming experience, master planning or architectural background)
- Proven experience managing large-scale or complex multidisciplinary design projects.
- Strong knowledge of project management principles (PMP certification is an advantage).
- Familiarity with design standards, authority approval processes, and project delivery methods
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- High proficiency in project management tools and collaboration platforms.
