Roles and Responsibilities of a Senior Project Manager
1. Strategic Project Planning and Leadership
- Oversee multiple projects or large-scale, high-impact initiatives across the organization.
- Define project goals in alignment with business strategy and organizational objectives.
- Develop long-term project roadmaps, budgets, and resource plans.
- Establish governance frameworks, project standards, and best practices for execution.
2. Client Management
- Serve as the primary liaison between executive management, clients, and project teams.
- Manage senior-level stakeholder expectations through transparent communication.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and partners.
- Facilitate decision-making by presenting key insights, project risks, and solutions.
3. Team Leadership and Development
- Lead and mentor project managers, coordinators, and cross-functional teams.
- Foster a collaborative, accountable, and high-performance team environment.
- Conduct performance reviews, provide guidance, and support professional development.
- Ensure optimal utilization of team members across concurrent projects.
4. Financial and Resource Management
- Develop and manage project budgets and forecasts.
- Track and control expenditures to ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Optimize allocation of resources and manage vendor contracts effectively.
- Approve procurement and major financial decisions within project scope.
5. Risk and Issue Management
- Identify strategic and operational risks across projects.
- Implement proactive mitigation and contingency strategies.
- Resolve escalated project issues impacting scope, quality, or delivery timelines.
- Ensure compliance with legal, contractual, and regulatory requirements.
6. Quality Assurance and Performance Monitoring
- Oversee project performance using key metrics and success indicators (KPIs).
- Ensure adherence to organizational quality standards and delivery excellence.
- Conduct periodic audits and performance reviews to evaluate project outcomes.
- Promote continuous improvement through lessons learned and best practices.
7. Communication and Reporting
- Provide senior management with project dashboards, status reports, and presentations.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
