The Senior Project Manager will lead
large-scale semiconductor fabrication and advanced facilities construction projects, including
greenfield developments, cleanrooms, utilities, logistics buildings, and supporting infrastructure. The role carries
end-to-end ownership from feasibility and design coordination through construction, commissioning, stakeholder management, and final handover.
This is a
leadership role suited for professionals with experience working on global semiconductor programs for clients such as Intel, Infineon, Lam Research, and Komag.
Key ResponsibilitiesProject & Construction Management
Lead
end-to-end delivery of semiconductor facilities projects including
cleanrooms, utilities, admin & auxiliary buildings, logistics and warehouses. Own
project planning, scheduling, budgeting, quality, risk, and safety management. Develop
Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and drive detailed project scheduling. Oversee
construction pre-planning, logistics, sequencing, and execution strategies. Review and approve
ITPs, PQPs, method statements, engineering drawings, and mock-ups.
Technical & Engineering Leadership
Lead
CSA / MEP design development, feasibility studies, tendering, and engineering coordination. Oversee utilities and process systems including
Ultrapure Water (UPW), wastewater treatment, chemical & gas systems, HF and cyanide treatment plants, cleanrooms, and electrical substations (up to 132 kV). Manage
testing, commissioning, qualification, and system handover.
Stakeholder & Authority Management
Act as the
primary interface with clients, consultants, authorities, general contractors, and internal teams. Lead
OAC meetings, prepare progress reports, MOMs, dashboards, and executive presentations. Manage
statutory approvals and ensure regulatory compliance.
Operations & Facilities Support
Support
facilities operations teams during ramp-up, sustaining activities, audits, SOP development, and warranty management. Drive
FAB ramp-up and capacity expansion initiatives across global sites including
Kulim, Villach, Dresden, and Regensburg.
Candidate Profile
20-25+ years of experience in
semiconductor FAB projects, cleanroom construction, and advanced facilities engineering. Deep expertise in
CSA, MEP, utilities, cleanrooms, and tool hook-up environments. Strong exposure to
commissioning, qualification, and performance verification. Proven ability to lead
large multi-disciplinary site teams. Excellent stakeholder, authority, and contractor management capabilities.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or equivalent).
