Job Description:
Meca Project RD (Oman Branch) is seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Senior Project Mechanical Engineer to lead mechanical engineering aspects of major projects in Muscat. Based in Madinat Al Sultan Qaboos, the ideal candidate will be responsible for managing mechanical design, execution, and coordination to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead mechanical engineering design and project execution activities
• Review and approve mechanical drawings, specifications, and calculations
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including civil, electrical, and process engineers
• Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets
• Conduct technical evaluations and resolve engineering issues
• Ensure compliance with international standards and safety regulations
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
• Participate in project planning, risk assessment, and reporting

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Proven experience in mechanical engineering within construction, oil & gas, or industrial projects
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment, and engineering standards
• Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills
• Ability to manage complex engineering projects and meet deadlines
• Professional certifications are an advantage
