Role Summary:
We are looking for a skilled backend engineer with experience in healthcare data standards, particularly X12 837P/I/D claims. The engineer will be responsible for building a robust parser and exposing it via secure and scalable REST APIs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement a parser for X12 837 5010 (P/I/D) claim formats.
- Build scalable RESTful API endpoints for integration with external systems.
- Manage data ingestion, validation and conversion to structured formats (e.g., JSON).
- Collaborate with QA, analysts and other developers to ensure robust and maintainable code.
- Write unit tests and API documentation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering,
or a related field from a well-reputed university.
- 5+ years of working knowledge in software development lifecycle
environment.
- Hand-on experience architecting large-scale, enterprise-level web
applications from the ground up.
- Experience in Design and implement scalable microservices using Python.
- Experience working on large-scale databases. (AWS PostgresSQL)
- Experience with designing, building, and implementing RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
- Expertise in object-oriented and service-oriented design concepts and
strong knowledge of SOLID Principles.
- Implement messaging queues and event-driven communication using
Kafka, RabbitMQ, or AWS SNS/SQS.
- Good Exposure with SQL Query optimization and performance
improvements.
- Experience working with both relational (Aurora PostgreSQL) and
- Experience in Problem solving and troubleshooting techniques.
- Experience working in an Agile environment.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to stakeholders.
- Great team player and able to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
- Participates in the code review process for learning purposes
- Hands-on experience working with CI/CD processes and experience with
- DevOps methodologies (Docker, Jenkins, Kubernetes)
- Work closely with frontend (React, React Native) and DevOps teams to
- build a seamless development workflow.
