About the Role

Symufolk is building scalable AI-driven SaaS products used by global clients. We are seeking a Senior Python Engineer to design, develop, and scale core platform services that power our next-generation applications. This role requires strong technical ownership, system-level thinking, and the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend systems using Python.
• Architect and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Ensure system reliability, scalability, and security across distributed services.
• Participate in technical architecture discussions and code reviews.
• Collaborate closely with DevOps teams on deployment strategies and infrastructure.
• Work with product managers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot production issues.
• Implement best practices for testing, documentation, and maintainability.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in Python development.
• Strong understanding of backend architecture, APIs, and databases (SQL & NoSQL).
• Experience with distributed systems and scalable SaaS platforms.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with Git and modern development workflows.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in an onsite, collaborative environment.
• Proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.

Preferred / Nice to Have

• Experience with frameworks such as Django, FastAPI, or Flask.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.).
• Exposure to Big Data technologies (Spark, Hadoop) or search systems (Elasticsearch/OpenSearch).
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and microservices architecture.
• Experience working on AI/ML-driven products or data-intensive platforms.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs200,000.00 - Rs300,000.00 per month
