Senior QA/QC Engineer (Short-term contract)

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE

El Patio Engineering Consultancy is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Senior QA/QC Engineer to join our team for ongoing infrastructure and landscape projects across Abu Dhabi.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and maintain the Project Quality Plan (PQP) in compliance with project specifications and relevant standards.

Review and approve material submittals, method statements, ITPs, and inspection requests.

Ensure compliance with DMT, ADQCC, and applicable international standards (ISO, ASTM, BS).

Conduct site inspections, audits, and quality surveillance to ensure adherence to approved drawings and specifications.

Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and stakeholders to resolve quality-related issues.

Monitor NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports), corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

Prepare quality reports and maintain proper documentation and records.

Support project teams in achieving timely approvals and closing quality-related comments.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.

Minimum 8+ years of experience, preferably in infrastructure, landscape, and public realm projects.

Strong knowledge of UAE standards, particularly DMT and Abu Dhabi Municipality requirements.

Experience in supervision consultancy roles is highly preferred.

Certified Quality Engineer (ISO 9001 Lead Auditor or equivalent is an advantage).

Proficiency in QA/QC documentation, audits, and reporting systems.

Strong communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in large-scale parks or public realm projects.

Familiarity with IDAS/authority submission processes.

Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders efficiently.
