Senior QC DTP Specialist

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough quality control (QC) checks on localized DTP files (e.g., InDesign, FrameMaker, Illustrator, MS Word, PowerPoint, PDF).
• Ensure visual, formatting, typographic, and linguistic consistency in accordance with client guidelines.
• Check layout and formatting against source files to ensure accurate replication across languages.
• Identify and flag errors such as text overflow, truncated content, broken links, missing fonts, or incorrect images.
• Cross-check translated content for alignment with layout (non-linguistic QC).
• Validate that style guides, templates, and brand requirements are properly implemented.
• Document and report errors clearly and systematically using internal tracking systems or QC checklists.
• Maintain QC documentation and suggest improvements to QC workflows and standards.
• Support continuous improvement of quality assurance processes in DTP production.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience (4+ years) in QC, in localization or publishing industries.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to spot inconsistencies and layout issues quickly.
• Solid understanding of file formats, fonts, color management, and print/web publishing standards.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Experience working with multilingual content is highly desirable.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a localization, translation, or global content production environment.
• Basic knowledge of typography and visual design principles.
• Knowledgeable and familiar with language functions punctuation .
