This is a site-based position within active construction projects. Candidates must be open to travel and working in a field environment.

The Opportunity

We are working with a number of rapidly growing EPC and industrial construction organizations delivering major infrastructure and energy projects across the US.

Due to continued expansion, there is an immediate requirement for an experienced QA/QC Manager to take ownership of quality across complex, large-scale builds.

This is a contract-to-permanent opportunity, ideal for someone who can come in, make an immediate impact, and transition into a long-term leadership role.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage QA/QC activities across construction projects
• Oversee:
• Site inspections, audits, and compliance
• Contractor quality and performance
• Quality documentation and reporting
• Review and approve:
• Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs)
• Welding procedures (WPS/PQR)
• Material traceability and turnover packages
• Drive:
• Non-conformance reports (NCRs)
• Corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
• Continuous improvement across QA processes
• Work closely with:
• Construction Managers
• Engineering teams
• Subcontractors and vendors

Required Experience

• Proven experience as a QA/QC Manager within industrial or EPC construction
• Strong background in:
• Structural steel and welding
• Mechanical systems and piping
• Large-scale site-based projects
• Experience managing:
• Subcontractors and field quality teams
• QA processes across active construction environments
• Strong understanding of:
• Inspection documentation and turnover packages
• Industry standards (ISO 9001, AWS, ASTM, ASME)

Preferred

• CWI (Certified Welding Inspector)
• NDT certifications (UT, RT, MT, PT)
• Background in:
• Oil & Gas
• LNG
• Energy / infrastructure
• Data centre construction
