Senior Quality Engineer will operate at Feature Team level and will focus on building automation framework and supporting other engineers in establishing & running quality gates using test pyramid and other modern test automation practices. They will be involved in design, development, and maintenance of software applications from test automation perspective and will help in successful product delivery. This is an full-stack individual contributor QE/SDET role with primary focus on modern data technologies built on GCP along with event-driven architecture experience and lead the feature team from test automation front.

• Drive advanced software testing techniques using experience to apply modern automation test approaches in data technology project
• Develop robust Data & Microservices Test Automation frameworks and maintain test suites in Java /Python/ Typescript to ensure data quality
• Solve complex automation use cases for new data products, and build frameworks for event-driven architecture, GCP Data products & ETL
• Working experience of modern data & event-driven technologies, such as:
  • Testing & Automation: Pytest, Cucumber, Behave, DBT, GreatExpectations, Monte Carlo, Soda, RestAssured etc
  • Data Engineering & Orchestration: Kafka, Cloud Composer, DAGs, Apache Beam, Spark, Dataflow, BigQuery, Pub/Sub etc
  • Data Governance & Visualisation: Looker, Ataccama, Dataplex, Collibra, PowerBI
• Strong programming proficiency in Python, Typescript & Java.
• Experience of designing & executing complex automation testing strategies and frameworks for Functional and Non-Functional requirements
• Create, execute and report BDD focused automation test cases and perform exploratory testing for needed systems
• Create or accurately request complex test data, taking into account referential integrity and metadata
• Incorporate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline and DevOps tooling
• Experience with Agile tools (Jira, Confluence)
• Source code management (Git, GitHub)
