Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Senior Quantity Surveyor role based in Chennai. The Senior Quantity Surveyor will manage and oversee all aspects of cost control, including cost planning, preparation of Bill of Quantities (BOQ), and cost reporting throughout the project lifecycle. Responsibilities will also include conducting detailed cost assessments, monitoring project budgets, and ensuring effective cost management practices. The role requires collaborating with clients, contractors, and project teams to ensure successful project completion within budgetary constraints.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in cost control, cost management, and cost planning principles
• Expertise in preparing and analyzing Bill of Quantities (BOQ)
• Strong ability to perform detailed cost reporting and maintain accurate financial records
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
• Proven ability to work in a collaborative on-site team environment
• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field
• Relevant professional certifications or memberships (e.g., RICS) are a plus
• Prior experience in the construction or infrastructure industry is highly desirable
