Senior Quantity Surveyor

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for Civil works and Road Structure (earthwork, sub-base, base course, asphalt, culverts, drainage, etc.) based on project specifications, drawings, and materials requirements. This includes estimating the cost of labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
• Preparation of Road Cross Sections and calculate quantities.
• Act as the primary point of contact between the project team and MES (Military Engineer Services).
• Ensure all submissions (shop drawings, Bar Bending Schedule and BOQ’s) are completed and approved by MES/consultant.
• Coordinate the review and certification of contractor invoices and interim payment certificates.
• Conduct detailed rate analysis for items as per MES Schedule.
• Take accurate measurements and quantities of Civil works from architectural and engineering drawings, ensuring all components are included.

Qualification:

DAE/ B.Tech Hons. (Civil)

Experience:

10+ Years of position related work experience

Skills/Competencies:

· Estimation and BOQ preparation (Civil, Road & Infra Structure) as per (MES Schedule)

· Strong understanding of building & Infra construction and drawings

· Bar Bending Schedule (BBS) preparation

· Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Excel

· Good communication and coordination skills
