Senior React Developer

Job Overview
Hiring ASAP!!! We are seeking a talented and motivated Front End Developer with Strong React as team lead for a long term 1099 contract to perm in Lower Manhattan with client option to convert to FTE. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web development and a passion for creating engaging user experiences. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining user-friendly web applications that meet the needs of our clients. This role requires proficiency in various front-end technologies and frameworks, as well as a keen eye for design and usability.

Duties

• Develop responsive web applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks such as Angular and React.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create intuitive user flows and wireframes.
• Implement RESTful APIs and integrate with back-end services using technologies like Node.js, Django, or ASP.NET.
• Utilize version control systems such as Git and SVN for source code management.
• Conduct unit testing and debugging to ensure high-quality code delivery.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability while ensuring cross-browser compatibility.
• Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning and daily stand-ups using tools like Jira or Trello.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to continually improve development practices.

Experience

• 5 years of front-end development languages: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and SCSS.
• 1 year of team lead experience.
• Familiarity with frameworks such as Angular, React, Vue.js, or similar technologies.
• Experience with back-end technologies like PHP, Ruby on Rails, Python (Django), or Java (Spring Framework).
• Knowledge of database management systems including MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Microsoft SQL Server, SQLite.
• Understanding of web services (REST/SOAP) and API integration.
• Experience with DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS or Azure is a plus.
• Strong understanding of SEO principles and e-commerce platforms is beneficial.

Pay: $50.00 - $65.00 per hour
