Senior Frontend Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Frontend Engineer with deep expertise in React.js and modern frontend architecture to lead the design and implementation of scalable, high-performance web applications. This role combines hands-on engineering with technical leadership, driving innovation and excellence across the frontend stack.

Your role

  • Architect and implement modular, scalable, and high-performance frontend solutions using JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and Next.js.
  • Design composable user experiences integrated with headless CMS, digital asset management (DAM) systems, and real-time personalization engines.
  • Lead initiatives to optimize Core Web Vitals, SEO, and WCAG 2.2+ accessibility compliance.
  • Drive observability through custom SDKs and performance monitoring tools.
  • Establish high-velocity engineering workflows using monorepos (e.g., Nx, TurboRepo), CI/CD automation, and AI-powered developer tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cody).
  • Integrate secure, scalable APIs (GraphQL, REST, OAuth) and deliver edge-optimized experiences via Akamai EdgeWorkers and advanced caching strategies.

Your skills and experience

  • 7+ years of experience in frontend development with a strong focus on React.js and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Proven experience designing and leading frontend architecture for large-scale applications.
  • Deep understanding of performance optimization, accessibility standards, and SEO best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with monorepo management, CI/CD pipelines, and developer productivity tooling.
  • Strong knowledge of API integration patterns and edge computing strategies.

At Capgemini, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. The base salary range for the tagged location is $65,200 to $158,550/yr. This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus, or commission. Full time regular employees are eligible for paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees. Note: No amount of pay is considered to be wages or compensation until such amount is earned, vested, and determinable.
