Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Account Manager with a strong background in sales of technology solutions, particularly in the areas of Network, Security, Cloud, Data Centre, and Managed Services. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by nurturing existing client relationships and cultivating new business opportunities within their assigned territory.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Identify and qualify new leads by establishing relationships with potential clients to understand their business challenges. Focus on explaining how 3M DATA solutions can meet their needs effectively.
  • Create compelling value propositions and deliver customized presentations that showcase the unique benefits of our solutions. Align these with clients' strategic objectives, demonstrating a solid understanding of our capabilities.
  • Manage complex sales processes from initial contact through negotiation to contract closure, ensuring a smooth and satisfactory experience for customers.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams such as pre-sales, engineering, and marketing to provide cohesive support and deliver integrated solutions. Use expertise in major technology vendors like Cisco to offer strategic insights.
  • Stay updated on developments in solutions from our primary vendors, monitor market trends, and analyze competitor activities to maintain a proactive approach. Continuously enhance knowledge across platforms to offer informed guidance and support.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet targets and expand our customer base within the System Integrator market.
  • Cultivate strong, enduring relationships with key decision-makers and influencers to foster customer loyalty.
  • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and proactive lead-generation efforts.
  • Collaborate closely with our technical teams to grasp customer requirements and propose suitable technology solutions.
  • Present proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals to achieve or exceed sales quotas effectively.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, offering expert guidance on our technology solutions and industry trends.
  • Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to effectively position our solutions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. (MBA preferred)
  • Proven track record of success in sales within the technology industry, with at least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Deep understanding of Network, Security, Cloud, Data Centre, and Managed Services solutions.
  • Experience working with major technology vendors such as Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, F5, etc.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze market opportunities and develop strategic plans.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned territory as needed
