Role Description

We are looking for a Senior Sales Engineer to promote our technical products to existing and prospective clients, manage the overall sales process, and ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction.

This position plays a key role in developing and maintaining strong client relationships while supporting the company’s strategic growth within the marine and industrial sectors.


Responsibilities

  • Lead and promote the sales of technical products, including marine and yacht coatings, high-pressure water jet robots and related accessories.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from initial inquiry to contract finalization, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
  • Oversee and expand the existing customer portfolio, while actively identifying and developing new business opportunities in marine and industrial markets.
  • Provide technical support and product presentations to customers, ensuring clear understanding of product features and benefits.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, service, and operations teams to ensure customer requirements are met effectively.
  • Prepare and follow up on technical and commercial proposals, quotations and tenders.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and support strategic planning.
  • Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions and client meetings to strengthen market presence.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of sales processes and customer experience.


Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably in Marine, Naval, Mechanical or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5+ years of proven experience in technical or industrial sales, ideally within the marine, coatings or industrial equipment sectors.
  • Demonstrated success in managing sales cycles, from technical proposal to contract execution.
  • Strong ability to build and maintain strategic customer relationships.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication and presentation skills with a customer-focused mindset.
  • Solid understanding of technical data and specifications with the ability to translate them into effective commercial solutions.
  • Ability to support the development and execution of sales strategies, achieve targets, and contribute to overall business growth.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
  • Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
  • B-class driving license
