Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Sales Engineer with a strong background in structural steel fabrication and erection to lead business development activities, manage key client relationships, and secure profitable projects. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in the UAE/GCC construction market, excellent technical understanding, and strong commercial negotiation skills.

Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Business Development

  • Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities in structural steel projects (commercial, residential, industrial, infrastructure).
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, main contractors, and developers.
  • Attend client meetings, technical discussions, and commercial negotiations.
  • Achieve sales targets and contribute to company growth strategy.

Tendering & Estimation Support

  • Review enquiries, drawings, specifications, and BOQs related to structural steel works.
  • Coordinate with estimation, design, and production teams for competitive and technically compliant proposals.
  • Support preparation of technical & commercial submissions, clarifications, and value engineering proposals.
  • Assist in final negotiations, contract finalization, and order confirmations.

Market & Commercial Management

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies.
  • Support management in developing sales forecasts and pipeline reports.
  • Ensure projects are sold with acceptable margins and commercial terms.

Coordination & Post-Award Support

  • Coordinate with project teams during handover to ensure smooth execution.
  • Support client communications during project execution when required.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, enquiry logs, and sales reports.
