Senior Sales Executive will be responsible for driving advertising revenues for Indigo 91.9 FM across FCT (spot) and non-FCT/branded content. The role involves driving client acquisition and account growth, account management, solution selling, and collaboration with internal teams to ensure seamless campaign delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Revenue
- Achieve and exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets.
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline with accurate CRM forecasting.
- Prospect and acquire new clients through networking, outreach, and market mapping.
- Grow revenue from existing clients through upselling, cross-selling, and multi-city deals.
Client Solutions & Pitching
- Conduct client discovery meetings to identify brand objectives and budgets.
- Develop integrated media solutions (RJ mentions, sponsorships, activations, digital add-ons, etc.).
- Prepare persuasive proposals, rate cards and presentations backed by case studies.
- Negotiate and close deals with senior stakeholders within timelines.
Campaign Execution & Reporting
- Coordinate with internal teams (Programming, Creative, scripts, scheduling) for campaign readiness.
- Monitor campaign performance, resolve discrepancies, and ensure client satisfaction.
- Share post-campaign reports with recordings, results, and insights.
Market Intelligence & Process
- Track competitor activity, category trends, and pricing.
- Ensure CRM hygiene, MIS updates, and timely payment collections.
- Adhere to pricing and discounting policies.
Collaboration
- Work closely with Programming, Creative, and RJ teams for campaign integration.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with media agencies (GroupM, Madison, Dentsu, Publicis, Havas).
- Engage directly with clients across industries like Auto, Retail, Real Estate, BFSI, Education, Lifestyle, Hospitality, and E-commerce.
Qualifications (Must have):
- MBA preferred.
- 2–5 years of media sales experience (Radio preferred; Digital, Agency backgrounds or TV also
- acceptable).
- Proven record of achieving/exceeding sales targets.
- Strong consultative selling, proposal writing, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in CRM tools (Salesforce/Zoho) and MS Office (Excel & PowerPoint).
- Excellent communication skills in English, Hindi and the local/native language.
