Senior Sales Executive -Solar

India

  • Business Development:
  • Actively generate new leads and identify potential customers through networking, cold calling, and market research.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and surpass sales quotas for solar projects (residential, commercial, or industrial).
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to key clients and stakeholders.
  • Client Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients throughout the entire sales cycle, from initial contact to post-sale support.
  • Understand client energy needs and provide customized solar solutions that meet their specific requirements and budget.
  • Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing to close deals effectively and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Technical and Market Expertise:
  • Conduct site assessments to evaluate the feasibility of solar installations, including roof analysis, energy usage assessment, and system design.
  • Possess a strong technical understanding of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, including components, installation processes, and energy production calculations.
  • Stay informed about the latest solar technology advancements, government incentives, regulations, and market trends to provide accurate information and competitive offerings.
  • Collaboration and Reporting:
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including design, engineering, and project management, to ensure seamless project implementation.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities, leads, and client information in CRM software.
  • Provide regular reports on sales performance, pipeline development, and market conditions to senior management.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of proven sales experience, with a significant portion in the solar or renewable energy industry.
  • Proven track record of consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to understand complex technical concepts and explain them clearly to a non-technical audience.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and visit project sites.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with both residential and commercial/industrial solar projects.
  • Knowledge of local and national solar incentives, policies, and regulations.
  • Existing network of contacts within the solar industry.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
