Senior Sales Manager

Job description:

driving revenue growth, managing high-value client relationships, and leading the sales team focused on retail gold and silver investment products. This role requires deep knowledge of the UAE precious-metals market, diamonds and watches. customer acquisition strategies, and compliance-driven selling practices.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to grow retail investment volumes in gold and silver products.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with high-net-worth individuals, retail investors, and institutional clients where applicable.
  • Oversee day-to-day sales operations, pipeline management, pricing discussions, and deal closures.
  • Monitor market trends, gold & silver prices, competitor activity, and customer demand to refine sales strategies.
  • Collaborate with operations, compliance, and finance teams to ensure all sales activities adhere to UAE regulatory and internal policy requirements.
  • Prepare regular sales performance reports, forecasts, and MIS for senior management review.
  • Support marketing initiatives, campaigns, and promotional activities aimed at increasing customer acquisition and retention.
  • Ensure exceptional customer experience, transparency, and ethical selling standards across all sales channels.

Required qualifications & experience

  • Minimum 5–8 years of UAE sales experience in the precious metals, bullion, jewellery, gold trading, or related investment industry, with at least 3 years in a senior or managerial role.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a competitive, price-sensitive market.
  • Strong understanding of gold and silver investment products, retail investor behavior, and UAE market dynamics.
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and client relationship management skills.
  • Ability to manage high-value transactions with discretion, integrity, and compliance awareness.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in sales forecasting, CRM systems, and performance reporting.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field (MBA is an advantage).
  • Fluency in English is mandatory; additional languages (Arabic, Hindi, Gujarati) are a strong advantage.
