What You’ll Do:

As a Pawnbroker, you’ll serve as a trusted advisor to customers while helping drive store performance through strong sales, accurate lending, and excellent service. You’ll evaluate merchandise, write pawn loans, and support both in-store and online sales operations—playing a key role in the daily success of the location.

• Write pawn loans by accurately assessing merchandise value, explaining terms clearly, and negotiating loan amounts that are fair, compliant, and profitable.
• Drive in-store sales by delivering a high-quality, customer-first experience that builds trust and repeat business.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and visually appealing showroom that reflects Lev’s brand standards.
• Support inventory management by accurately tracking items in internal systems and assisting with reporting as needed.
• Manage and support the store’s local online sales presence by photographing, listing, and responding to inquiries on platforms such as Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist, and OfferUp.
• Assist the Store Manager with pawn and purchase pulls, inventory counts, audits, and general inventory organization.
• Uphold company policies, compliance requirements, and loss-prevention standards at all times.

What You’ll Bring:

• 4+ years of experience in a customer-facing retail role (sales associate, cashier, clerk, or similar) with cash handling and/or key-holder responsibilities.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain terms clearly and professionally.
• Proven negotiation skills and comfort discussing pricing, value, and loan terms.
• A positive, solution-oriented mindset with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
• Ability to build rapport and long-term relationships with a diverse customer base.
• Solid computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and general internet navigation.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and independently lift up to 50 lbs.

We’d like to see:

• Prior experience in a pawn shop or related industries such as title lending, banking, resale, or thrift retail.
• Knowledge of and experience buying or selling merchandise such as jewelry, electronics, video game systems, computers, cell phones, memorabilia, firearms, and/or musical instruments.
• Experience listing and selling items on e-commerce or online marketplaces (eBay, Amazon, Craigslist, Facebook Marketplace, etc.).
• Spanish-speaking ability is strongly preferred.

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 48 per week
