JOB SUMMARY:

This position serves as part of the leadership team for the Risk Management and Security Services, which is accountable for the continuing training and oversight of division's school security officers. The work involves exercise of judgement, accountability, and discretion. This position shall be responsible, under limited supervision, to perform supervisory responsibilities to report and detect criminal activity, works closely with school administration and school resource officers (SRO) to provide for a safe school climate, as well as take appropriate action regarding violations of the student Code of Behavior for the school division. This position will backfill vacant school safety and security officer and safety and security specialist positions as needed and conducts onsite training for those same positions. Participates in special projects as directed by management.
