Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Leads the installation, maintenance, repairs and adjusts all types of locks and their components for Security buildings, rooms, safes and vehicles.
- Cuts and issues keys; programs and issues key cards.
- Implements, troubleshoots, repairs and programs computerized access control systems; upgrades and maintains security systems locks.
- Services and maintains safes; Inspects completed work for conformance with specifications, requirements and compliance with applicable building and safety codes and regulations.
- Inspects related work performed by contractors; estimates cost, time and materials for locksmith projects.
- Participates in the maintenance and operations of a locksmith store.
- Maintains strict confidentiality and security of all Site Physical Security information and documentation.
- Oversees the work carried out by junior member(s) of the team and ensures work is carried out to required standards and procedures.
- Responds to routine and emergency calls for repairs and service.
- Acts as the main technical point of contact for any technical and/or operational aspect of key and lock installation, maintenance, repair, adjustment, and management.Activity: Key Management

- Produce and/or modify hardware for locks.
- Make new keys; replace broken or lost keys.

- Cleans, maintains, adjusts, calibrates and services equipment used in the performance of duties.
- Monitors work done by team member(s) and external contractors for adherence to state and regulatory requirements and reports back to the line manager.
