Team Description:
The Performance Marketing team drives customer acquisition, engagement, and retention across all channels by leveraging data-driven strategies and close collaboration with cross-functional teams to maximize impact and growth.

The Role:
The Senior SEM Executive will be responsible for planning, implementing, and managing Wego’s search engine marketing strategy. This role is vital for the growth of web and mobile web traffic and customer acquisition.

What you will be working on:

  • Conduct extensive keyword research using tools such as Google Ads, Keyword Planner, and SEMRush to identify high-value search terms

  • Design, develop, and manage PPC campaigns across multiple platforms such as Google Ads and Bing Ads

  • Monitor daily campaign budgets to ensure optimal use of funds and maximize ROI

  • Track KPIs to assess campaign performance and identify opportunities for improvement (including CTR, Conversion Rate, Quality Score, CPC, and others)

  • Create engaging and effective ad copy in collaboration with content and design teams

  • Work with UX/UI teams to optimize landing pages for SEM campaigns

  • Generate regular reports showcasing campaign performance and actionable insights

  • Analyze competitor advertising links and strategies to refine Wego’s SEM approach

  • Stay current with the latest SEM trends, technologies, and best practices

  • Collaborate with marketing team members to align SEM campaigns with broader marketing strategies

Core Responsibilities:

  • Lead SEM campaign planning, execution, and optimization across multiple platforms

  • Manage budgets and performance metrics to achieve acquisition and conversion goals

  • Ensure effective collaboration with content, design, and product teams to enhance campaign results

  • Monitor and report on performance data, identifying opportunities for improvement

Skills and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field

  • 4–7 years of experience in search engine marketing, PPC campaigns, or digital marketing

  • Proficiency in Google Ads, Bing Ads, and SEM tools

  • Strong analytical mindset and data interpretation skills

  • Excellent communication skills in both English and Arabic, written and verbal

  • Strong understanding of performance marketing, conversion optimization, and online customer acquisition

  • Knowledge of website analytics tools such as Google Analytics
