Key Responsibilities:-
- Develop, plan and execute comprehensive SEO strategies (on-page, off-page, technical SEO) to improve organic search rankings, visibility, and traffic.
- Conduct extensive keyword research, competitor analysis, and search trend monitoring to identify growth opportunities and guide content strategy.
- Perform regular site audits (technical SEO) to identify issues (site speed, indexing, crawl errors, broken links, mobile usability, structured data etc.), and coordinate with developers to implement fixes.
- Optimize website structure, meta tags, headings, URL structure, internal linking, schema markup, etc. for improved search performance.
- Lead link building / backlink acquisition campaigns, ensuring high quality and relevant links.
- Collaborate with content creators / content marketing team to ensure content is optimized for SEO, aligned with keyword strategy, user intent and best practices.
- Monitor SEO performance metrics (organic traffic, keyword rankings, CTR, bounce rate, conversion rate etc.), prepare regular reports, and generate insights & recommendations for improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with search engine algorithm updates, industry trends, tools, and best practices; continuously test and adopt new techniques.
- Mentor or guide junior SEO / content team members; help improve team’s SEO knowledge and practices.
- Coordinate with other teams (web development / product / UX / digital marketing) to ensure SEO is built in from design through deployment.
- Manage SEO tools & platforms (e.g. Google Analytics, Search Console, Ahrefs / SEMrush / Moz / Screaming Frog etc.), and ensure accurate tracking, monitoring and reporting.
