Jab We Wed (JWW) is a Desi wedding vendor marketplace launching in the US & Canada. We are building the leading platform connecting South Asian wedding vendors with brides.We are hiring a Senior SEO Specialist to own both On-Page and Off-Page SEO strategy.

Key Responsibilities

On-Page SEO

• Optimize city + vendor category pages (e.g., Houston Mehndi Artist, Dallas Wedding DJ)
• Keyword research for transactional and local queries
• Implement schema markup (LocalBusiness, FAQ, etc.)
• Internal linking strategy
• Technical SEO audits (crawl errors, indexing, speed)
• Work with developers to fix technical issues

Off-Page SEO

• Backlink acquisition strategy
• Outreach for guest posts
• Vendor partnership backlinks
• Citation building (US local directories)
• Authority building campaigns

Content SEO

• Blog strategy focused on wedding planning keywords
• Create SEO briefs for writers
• Optimize blog content for ranking
• Track and improve keyword positions

Requirements

• 4+ years proven SEO experience
• Strong experience in both On-Page and Off-Page SEO
• Experience with marketplace or local SEO preferred
• Hands-on with Ahrefs / SEMrush / GSC / GA4
• Strong understanding of search intent
• Experience building backlinks for US-based websites
• Strong English communication skills

• Backlink growth & domain authority
• Organic leads generated

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs100,000.00 - Rs150,000.00 per month
