Digital Web Master (Wordpress & SEO)

We are seeking a skilled WordPress Developer (SEO-Focused) responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimising WordPress websites. The primary focus will be web development, performance optimisation, and technical implementation, with secondary responsibility for supporting on-page SEO and basic content structuring.

The ideal candidate should have strong WordPress development experience and a working understanding of SEO best practices to build high-performing, search-friendly websites.

Job Description

• Develop and customise WordPress themes and plugins
• Maintain website performance, security, and uptime
• Optimise site speed, responsiveness, and Core Web Vitals
• Implement on-page SEO elements
• Fix technical SEO issues using tools like Google Search Console and Google Analytics
• Upload and format SEO-friendly content (blogs, landing pages)
• Collaborate with marketing/content teams for SEO implementation

Job Specifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• 3+ years of WordPress development experience
• Experience implementing technical SEO improvements
• Strong proficiency in WordPress, PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Experience with custom theme development
• Understanding of website performance optimisation
• Familiarity with SEO tools and practices
