Senior SEO Strategist, AEO & Lead Generation Focus

Elevation Ten Thousand is seeking a talented SEO Strategist to join its team of search-minded marketers with an interest and knowledge of organic search, and the will to never stop learning and improving their skillset. The ideal candidate must be energetic, enthusiastic, and ready to learn and work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

What You’ll Own

SEO Strategy & Leadership

  • Build and oversee SEO roadmaps tied directly to business outcomes, with a strong focus on lead generation, demand capture, and conversion growth.
  • Guide quarterly audits, competitive analyses, and opportunity assessments, translating insights into clear execution plans for internal teams.
  • Provide strategic direction across technical SEO, content priorities, site structure, schema, and performance optimization.
  • Partner with content and creative teams to ensure SEO intent, messaging, and CTAs support lead-gen paths across the funnel
  • Identify opportunities across SEO, AEO, content, and CRO to capture high-intent demand within evolving search experiences, including zero-click and AI-assisted discovery.

Integrated Digital Strategy

  • Collaborate with paid media, analytics, and account teams to develop cohesive, multi-channel strategies spanning SEO, paid search, social, content, and web.
  • Contribute a lead-generation-first POV to quarterly business reviews, strategic planning, and new business pitches.
  • Identify cross-channel opportunities that improve efficiency, ROI, and pipeline growth.

Client Advisory & Communication

  • Translate complex SEO and digital concepts into clear, actionable guidance for stakeholders at any technical level.
  • Participate in high-level strategy conversations, helping clients understand how organic drives measurable growth.
  • Create documentation, playbooks, and strategic frameworks that teams can execute confidently.

Team Enablement & Process Development

  • Review SEO deliverables, content outlines, dashboards, and reporting to ensure quality, clarity, and alignment with lead-gen goals.
  • Mentor junior and mid-level team members on strategic thinking, performance optimization, and best practices.
  • Help evolve repeatable SEO processes that scale across clients and integrated teams.

Experience & Skills

  • 5–8+ years of experience in SEO or digital marketing, ideally in an agency setting.
  • Proven success using SEO to drive qualified leads, improve conversion paths, and support pipeline growth.
  • Deep expertise in SEO strategy, content optimization, and analytics.
  • Strong understanding of integrated digital marketing, including paid search, paid social, UX, and CRO.
  • Proficiency with GA4, Google Search Console, Looker Studio, Tag Manager, and leading SEO tools (SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog).
  • Working knowledge of technical SEO fundamentals, including HTML, CSS, and site structure.
  • Experience with CMS platforms such as WordPress, HubSpot, Shopify, Magento, or similar.
  • Familiarity with AI tools and emerging marketing technology.
