Overall, 8-10 Years of Experience in Designing, Implementing, and maintaining ServiceNow Solutions, translating business needs into technical designs, and ensuring the platform's functionality and integration with other systems
Technical Expertise in ServiceNow:
- In-depth knowledge of ServiceNow modules: ITSM, ITOM & AIOps, ITAM, HRSD, NowAssist (GenAI)
- Customization and Scripting: Proficient in scripting languages within ServiceNow (JavaScript, Glide scripting) and experience with ServiceNow Studio.
- Integration Skills: Familiarity with REST/SOAP APIs, Integration Hub, and third-party integrations with tools like Jira, Tanium, and external data sources.
- Configuration Management Database (CMDB): Understanding of CMDB structure, relationships, and best practices for data management.
2. Solution Architecture and Design:
- End-to-End Architecture: Strong ability to design scalable, maintainable, and modular ServiceNow architectures.
- Frameworks and Best Practices: Knowledge of architectural frameworks (eg ,ITIL) and ServiceNow best practices for performance, security, and sustainability.
- Process Automation: Experience with workflow design and automation using Flow Designer, Workflow Editor, and Business Rules.
3. Experience with ServiceNow Implementation Projects:
- Full Project Lifecycle: Demonstrated experience across ServiceNow implementations, including requirement gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Global Implementations: Experience in large-scale, multi-region ServiceNow implementations, especially if your organization has extensive, distributed instances.
- Custom Application Development: Ability to guide custom app development and manage development standards.
4. Strategic and Analytical Thinking:
- Solution Strategy: Ability to align ServiceNow solutions with business strategy, transforming high-level requirements into scalable designs.
- Problem Solving: A strategic, solution-focused approach to troubleshooting complex issues and designing efficient processes.
5. Leadership and Communication Skills:
- Stakeholder Management: Experience working with diverse stakeholders, explaining technical concepts in business terms.
- Team Collaboration: Ability to lead development teams, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Presentation Skills: Proficient in PowerPoint, with experience in creating engaging and data-driven presentations
6. Certifications and Continuous Learning:
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in relevant areas.
- Advanced Certifications: ServiceNow Certified Master Architect (CMA) or other advanced certifications are beneficial.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with industry trends and ServiceNow’s latest features and roadmap.
