Senior Systems Consultant

We are looking for a Senior Systems Consultant for a leading IT solutions provider in Pakistan, delivering world-renowned IT products and innovative technology services to organizations across multiple industries.

Job Type: Full-time, onsite

Location: Karachi

Shift Timings: Morning shift

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement VMware Data Center Virtualization, Network Virtualization, and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) solutions tailored to organizational requirements
• Deploy and manage VMware vSphere, VMware NSX, VMware Horizon, and VMware Software Defined Data Center (SDDC) solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless:
• Physical-to-Virtual (P2V) migrations
• Virtual-to-Virtual (V2V) migrations
• Cloud migration projects
• Provide advanced technical expertise and support to resolve complex infrastructure issues and optimize system performance
• Perform infrastructure assessments, health checks, and performance tuning
• Ensure infrastructure security, availability, scalability, and operational efficiency
• Prepare technical documentation, implementation plans, and solution designs
• Support pre-sales activities and provide technical consultation to customers

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field
• More than 5 years of relevant experience, preferably within System Integrators
• Strong expertise in IT infrastructure management
• Solid understanding of Network architecture, Server administration, Virtualization technologies, and Security best practices
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to implement innovative and scalable infrastructure solutions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with customers, stakeholders, and internal teams

Technical Skills & Expertise

Candidates should possess in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with:

• VMware vCenter
• VMware ESXi
• VMware NSX
• VMware Horizon
• VMware Workspace ONE
• VMware Aria Operations
• VMware Aria Automation
• VMware Site Recovery Manager (SRM)

Technical Certifications (Preferred)

• VCP-DCV
• VCAP-DCV
• VCP-NV
• VCAP-NV
• VCP-DW
• VCP-CMA
