About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced Shopify Developer to join our growing e-commerce team. The ideal candidate has a strong background in front-end and back-end Shopify development, a deep understanding of Liquid templates, and experience optimizing stores for performance, scalability, and conversion. You’ll collaborate closely with our design and digital marketing teams to create seamless online shopping experiences that delight our customers and drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify stores, themes, and apps.
• Implement responsive and visually appealing front-end designs using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid.
• Integrate third-party apps, APIs, and custom functionality to enhance the store’s capabilities.
• Optimize site performance, speed, and SEO.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Shopify stores.
• Collaborate with designers to convert mockups into fully functional Shopify pages.
• Manage Shopify Plus features (if applicable), including scripts and checkout customization.
• Maintain version control using Git or similar tools.
• Stay current on Shopify updates, e-commerce trends, and best practices.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience as a Shopify Developer.
• Strong proficiency in Shopify Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and jQuery.
• Experience with Shopify APIs and App Development (custom or private apps).
• Familiarity with Shopify Plus, headless commerce, and Hydrogen/React (a plus).
• Strong understanding of UX/UI principles, responsive design, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Experience with version control tools such as Git.
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience

• Experience integrating third-party platforms (e.g., Klaviyo, Yotpo, ReCharge, Google Analytics).
• Knowledge of SEO best practices for e-commerce.
• Familiarity with Shopify theme 2.0 and JSON templates.
• Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
