Senior Shopify Developer

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Shopify Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, customizing, and optimizing Shopify stores to enhance user experience and maximize conversions. You will work closely with designers, marketers, and project managers to implement new features, integrate third-party applications, and ensure the platform is performing at its best.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and customize Shopify themes to align with brand requirements.
• Optimize Shopify stores for performance, SEO, and mobile responsiveness.
• Implement custom Shopify functionalities using Liquid, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Integrate and configure third-party Shopify apps and APIs.
• Develop custom Shopify apps or functionalities to extend store capabilities.
• Debug and troubleshoot Shopify issues, ensuring a seamless user experience.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create visually appealing and high-converting storefronts.
• Implement best practices for Shopify security, data protection, and compliance.
• Stay updated with the latest Shopify updates, trends, and development best practices.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to support eCommerce strategies and initiatives.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in Shopify development.
• Bachelors in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a relevant field.
• Strong expertise in Liquid, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and jQuery.
• Experience with Shopify APIs, webhooks, and third-party integrations.
• Experience with Shopify Plus and its advanced features.
• Experience with Shopify Hydrogen and headless commerce development.
• Proficiency in React.js and Vite for building Hydrogen-based storefronts.
• Experience with GraphQL (Shopify Storefront API) for data fetching and management.
• Experience with version control (Git) and modern development workflows.
• Strong understanding of performance optimization and SEO best practices.
• Experience working with payment gateways, shipping methods, and tax configurations.
• Ability to troubleshoot and debug Shopify issues efficiently.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.

Good to Have:

• Experience with Shopify Oxygen for hosting Hydrogen storefronts.
• Experience with Next.js, Remix, or other React-based frameworks for headless commerce.
• Understanding of eCommerce analytics and A/B testing.
• Knowledge of Shopify app development using Node.js or Ruby on Rails.
• Experience in working with subscription-based Shopify stores.

Pay: Rs120,000.00 - Rs150,000.00 per month
