Job Description:
The Senior Site Engineer will be responsible for overseeing and managing all on-site civil and marine construction activities. The role focuses on ensuring the project is executed in compliance with design specifications, safety standards, quality requirements, and project timelines.
Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and manage day-to-day site operations for marine and civil construction projects.

Ensure all works are carried out safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with project specifications and quality standards.

Review and interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications to ensure accurate execution on site.

Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, and other project stakeholders to ensure smooth project progress.

Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with environmental and marine regulations.

Conduct site inspections, quality checks, and resolve technical issues promptly.

Ensure the implementation of health, safety, and environmental policies on site.

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports and submit them to management.

Support project planning, cost control, and resource allocation to optimize project performance.

Lead and guide site teams to achieve project objectives efficiently.
Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

Minimum of 10 years of experience in civil construction, with a strong background in
marine works
(e.g., quay walls, jetties, breakwaters, dredging, or related infrastructure).

Proven experience in project execution, supervision, and team leadership.

Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and standards related to marine infrastructure.

Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in project management tools and software is an advantage.
