Senior Site Engineer

Job Description:

The Senior Site Engineer will be responsible for overseeing and managing all on-site civil and marine construction activities. The role focuses on ensuring the project is executed in compliance with design specifications, safety standards, quality requirements, and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage day-to-day site operations for marine and civil construction projects.
• Ensure all works are carried out safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with project specifications and quality standards.
• Review and interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications to ensure accurate execution on site.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, and other project stakeholders to ensure smooth project progress.
• Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with environmental and marine regulations.
• Conduct site inspections, quality checks, and resolve technical issues promptly.
• Ensure the implementation of health, safety, and environmental policies on site.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports and submit them to management.
• Support project planning, cost control, and resource allocation to optimize project performance.
• Lead and guide site teams to achieve project objectives efficiently.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in civil construction, with a strong background in marine works (e.g., quay walls, jetties, breakwaters, dredging, or related infrastructure).
• Proven experience in project execution, supervision, and team leadership.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and standards related to marine infrastructure.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software is an advantage.
