About The Role

Our client, a well-established marketing and communications agency in Doha, is seeking a Senior Social Media Manager to lead strategy, content, and digital engagement for a portfolio of high-profile clients across diverse industries. This is a senior-level position that requires both strategic vision and hands-on execution, with the ability to inspire creativity, deliver measurable results, and manage client relationships with professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategy & Planning
    • Develop and implement innovative, data-driven social media strategies tailored to client objectives.
    • Lead annual and quarterly planning for campaigns across all major platforms (Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, X, YouTube, Snapchat).
    • Monitor industry trends and emerging platforms to keep clients ahead of the curve.
  • Content Development & Oversight
    • Guide creative teams in producing high-quality, brand-consistent content (visual, video, copy).
    • Ensure messaging is aligned with client positioning and resonates with target audiences.
    • Oversee editorial calendars and content approval workflows.
  • Performance & Analytics
    • Set KPIs for social campaigns and manage reporting dashboards.
    • Analyze performance metrics and provide insights to optimize engagement, reach, and ROI.
    • Present clear reports and strategic recommendations to clients and internal leadership.
  • Client Management
    • Act as the primary point of contact for key client accounts in the digital and social domain.
    • Build trusted partnerships with senior client stakeholders by providing proactive counsel and innovative solutions.
    • Participate in client pitches and contribute to new business proposals.
  • Team Leadership
    • Manage and mentor a team of social media specialists, content creators, and community managers.
    • Foster a collaborative culture that encourages creativity, accountability, and professional development.
    • Oversee external vendors, influencers, and platform partners as needed.


Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, or a related field. A Masters degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 7+ years of experience in social media and digital marketing, preferably within an agency environment.
  • Proven track record of leading social media campaigns for regional and international brands.
  • Deep knowledge of paid and organic social media strategies, analytics tools, and content best practices.
  • Strong client management and presentation skills; ability to engage with senior executives confidently.
  • Experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
  • Bilingual proficiency (English & Arabic) is strongly preferred.
