Position Description
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to work out of the Contour Software Lahore resource center office, as an extension of the division-based R&D department

Job Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with a team of skilled .NET, Angular, and SQL Server developers to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Design and develop microservices and implement new API endpoints, as well as optimize existing APIs for performance and scalability.
  • Develop new features and maintain existing functionality in the Angular-based frontend application.
  • Optimize SQL Server stored procedures, with a focus on T-SQL, SQL Query Analyzer, and SQL Profiler to ensure database efficiency.
  • Implement minor UI enhancements in WinForms for legacy tools.
  • Prioritize tasks effectively and deliver results independently within deadlines.
  • Manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Maintain strong organizational standards and a commitment to quality.
  • Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail.
  • Work independently, taking ownership of projects from inception to completion.

Specialized Skills & Knowledge
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Required Experience:
  • C# .NET – 4+ years
  • Web API – 3+ years
  • SQL Server / T-SQL – 4+ years
  • Angular or other JavaScript frameworks – 3+ years
  • SQL Query Analyzer – 2+ years
  • SQL Profiler – 2+ years
Nice to Have:
  • Azure or AWS cloud experience
  • PostgreSQL knowledge
