Senior Software Engineer

Location: Onsite – F7-Islamabad
Type: Contract (Timings: 6 PM to 3 AM PKT)

Triflux is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to join our onsite engineering team in building a high-performance virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) platform. This is a hands-on role focused on systems-level development, streaming technologies, and full-stack engineering.

You'll be working on a cutting-edge browser-based remote computing solution for enterprise environments. If you bring strong experience in low-level programming, back-end systems (including Python), and remote desktop or virtualization technologies—this is a unique opportunity to contribute to a high-impact, technically complex product.

Key Responsibilities:

Protocol & Streaming Development: Work with protocols and technologies such as RDP, HTTP, WebSockets, and REST APIs to improve remote desktop performance and reliability.

Full Stack Engineering: Develop and maintain back-end systems using Java, Python, with contributions to the front-end using React and TypeScript.

Database Integration: Design, write, and optimize complex SQL queries to support scalable back-end services.

AI-Driven Development: Utilize Generative AI tools to accelerate development and maintain clean, high-quality code.

Architecture & Mentorship: Contribute to system and software architecture decisions and provide technical mentorship to junior engineers where needed.

Collaboration: Work closely with product managers and engineering teams to deliver reliable, high-performance features.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.

5+ years of professional software development experience, including full stack work.

Strong back-end development skills in Java, C/C++, and Python.

Experience with Apache Guacamole or similar remote access frameworks.

Proven work in Enterprise-grade VDI or virtualized environments.

Proficiency in React, TypeScript, and SQL databases.

Strong analytical, debugging, and system-level problem-solving skills.

Must be available to work onsite.
