Role Overview

We’re building a high-performance platform that powers how schools operate. As a Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack) you own and deliver major product modules end-to-end — from backend APIs to React-based frontends. Work closely with the Sr./Principal engineer to evolve architecture and best practices.

What You’ll Do

• Develop web based applications using NodeJS, ReactJS and MySQL
• Design database schema (MySQL/Postgres, multi-tenant)
• Drive code quality, enforce coding standards and design patterns
• Collaborate on product planning with PM and design teams
• Take ownership of modules of different product of Ether’s SaaS platform
• Collaborate with Product and Design teams for seamless execution
• Contribute to delivery planning.
• Contribute to system design, scalability, performance, and security of core systems
• Ensure high code quality, testing, and documentation standards
• Leverage GenAI with Cursor AI / GitHub Copilot

Who You Are

• Proven experience (5–9 years) in building and scalable products
• Hands-on leader with deep expertise in full-stack development (Node.js, React, MySQL, etc.)
• Strong understanding of AWS infrastructure, CI/CD, and security practices.
• Strong communicator and cross-functional collaborator
• Builder’s mindset with a bias for execution
• Leverage GenAI with Cursor AI / GitHub Copilot

Bonus If You Have (Not mandatory, but helpful)

• Prior work in multi-tenant SaaS platforms
• Experience in EdTech or building platforms for schools or education systems
• Familiarity with data security, compliance, and multi-tenant architecture
• Interest in emerging AI technologies and how they can be applied to education
• Exposure to Docker, or Terraform
• Set up CI/CD, performance monitoring, and release management
