QA Automation Engineer (Fintech)

We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Engineer to join our team and support the delivery of high-quality fintech web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in testing financial systems, strong analytical skills, and hands-on expertise in API and automation testing.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for web and mobile applications.
  
• Perform comprehensive API testing (REST/JSON), including integrations with third-party financial systems.
  
• Execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing across financial workflows (onboarding, disbursement, repayment, reconciliation).
  
• Validate data accuracy, financial calculations, and transaction integrity .
  
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, security requirements, and audit regulations .
  
• Identify, document, and track defects with clear risk and business impact analysis .
  
• Integrate automated tests within CI/CD pipelines to support continuous delivery.
  
• Participate in requirement and design reviews to ensure testability and regulatory readiness .
  
  
  

Requirements


Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  
• 3+ years of experience in Software Testing / Quality Control (preferably in fintech or financial services).
  
• Hands-on experience with API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured, SoapUI).
  
• Good understanding of financial systems, transactions, and data flows .
  
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and CI/CD environments.
  
• Experience with test management & defect tracking tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps, TestRail).
  
• Working knowledge of SQL for data validation and reconciliation.
  

Preferred:

• Experience with loan management systems, payment gateways, or digital wallets .
  
• Knowledge of security testing concepts (OWASP, data privacy, access control).
  
• Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, k6).
  
• Exposure to mobile test automation (Appium).
