Role description


MDM BA

Location Erlanger KY onsite

MDM Master Data Management Business Analyst role involves bridging business needs with IT solutions for master data quality integrity and governance Responsibilities include analyzing data flows defining master data standards and processes collaborating with crossfunctional teams creating documentation supporting data cleansing and migration and ensuring data accuracy across systems like SAP Key skills required are strong analytical skills SQL and data analysis proficiency knowledge of MDM tools and excellent communication to translate business requirements into technical solutions

Key Responsibilities

Data Governance Quality Define and maintain master data standards naming conventions and data governance frameworks to ensure accuracy and consistency

Process Analysis Design Document and design master datarelated processes including data flows and recommend improvements for optimization

Stakeholder Collaboration Act as a liaison between business units and IT to gather requirements resolve data issues and ensure cohesive project delivery

Solution Implementation Support MDM projects including system upgrades data migrations and the implementation of new master data solutions

Data Management Activities Perform daily MDM operations such as data cleansing identifying corrections and creating new master data entities

Documentation Reporting Create comprehensive documentation including requirement specifications process maps and summary reports for various audiences

Testing Validation Develop and execute test scenarios to validate MDM solutions and support data quality audits and health checks

Technical Support Provide analysis and support to internal teams including generating reports supporting data integration and troubleshooting data issues

Required Skills Qualifications

Analytical Skills Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions

Data Management Expertise Proven experience in Master Data Management MDM with knowledge of various master data objects eg customer product vendor

Technical Proficiency Familiarity with data analysis tools eg SQL Excel data governance platforms and common ERP systems like SAP

Communication Collaboration Excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders

Business Acumen A strong understanding of business processes and how master data impacts business operations

Project Management Ability to contribute to project planning tracking and milestone execution for MDM initiatives

Benefits
Compensation range: $100,000.00 to $135,000.00 per year
