What awaits you in this role?
We are looking for a Production Coordination Engineer who will work for Dishwasher Factory.
- Ensure the continuous and efficient operation of assembly/Process lines during the shift by managing and directing the teams under their supervision.
- Ensure that the teams under their supervision and subcontractor companies working in their area comply with occupational safety and health rules, conduct the required safety inspections, and ensure that their teams receive complete OHS training.
- Plan and carry out activities to enhance employee experience in coordination with HR management and their own supervisors.
- Coordinate handover procedures at the beginning and end of shifts, maintain coordination between shifts, and strengthen communication between teams.
- Monitor the operation of the line according to production plans and intervene when necessary.
- Identify production bottlenecks, take and/or coordinate actions to eliminate these bottlenecks.
- Ensure production is carried out in line with quality standards and intervene immediately in case of quality issues.
- Organize overtime and obtain necessary approvals by coordinating with the planning, production engineering, and HR departments to meet production targets.
- Identify the maintenance and repair needs of equipment and machinery, and coordinate with the maintenance teams.
- Track production performance during the shift they are responsible for, and prepare reports on production, breakdowns, stoppages, and workforce.
- Coordinate activities related to TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) and 5S.
- Participate in operator selection and placement processes in their area of responsibility; conduct performance evaluations and follow up on development plans for those needing improvement.
- Serve as the communication point for all HR processes (leave, overtime etc.).
- Track employee/hour data and carry out improvement/efficiency activities.
- Organize employee transfers in coordination with other shift engineers, and collaborate with HR on this matter.
- Work in compliance with the ISO 9001 quality management system standard and Beko procedures in their areas of responsibility, and ensure sustainability of practices by coordinating with all relevant departments.
- Ensure compliance with OHS regulations, standards, and Beko OHS procedures in their areas of responsibility, and coordinate with all relevant departments to ensure sustainability of practices.
- Conduct all activities in accordance with ISO 14001 Environmental Management System, ISO 14064-1 Greenhouse Gas Inventory and Calculation standard, and ensure the continuity and improvement of the chemical system related to the product by coordinating with all relevant units.
- Work in coordination with relevant units to ensure that all activities are carried out in compliance with national and international legal regulations and standards related to the environment and chemicals, in line with Beko's policies.
The position is located in Sincan, Ankara.
How we describe the perfect fit?
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics or Industrial Engineering
- Minimum 2 years of experience working in a shift-based role in production facilities
- Ability to adapt to a shift work schedule
- Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills
- Team player with strong communication skills
- Well-developed planning and organizational skills
- Preferably experienced in using ERP systems and MS Office programs
- Knowledge of occupational health and safety (OHS) regulations
