Senior Specialist - General Ledger

Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking an experienced Senior Specialist - General Ledger to join our finance team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the company's general ledger, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and internal policies. This position demands a high level of attention to detail, strong analytical abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee general ledger operations including journal entry processing and account reconciliations.
  • Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Prepare and review financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors during periodic audits.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records promptly.
  • Assist in enhancing accounting procedures and controls.
  • Stay current with accounting regulations and standards to ensure compliance.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 2-4 years of relevant experience in general ledger or accounting roles.
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles such as IFRS or GAAP.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork capabilities.
  • Professional certification (e.g., CPA) is advantageous.
