Main Tasks

Supervising the implementation of maintenance strategy, maintenance plans, inspection policies, and technical procedures for all related assets.

Implementing and following up on the maintenance maturity assessment process and submitting reports accordingly.

Implementing and following up on audit processes regarding compliance with maintenance governance policy and auditing maintenance departments according to approved standards.

Reviewing and studying contracts (outsourcing and service) and providing advice related to contract terms and service level agreements for both maintenance and inspection.

Reviewing and monitoring internal audit reports and corrective plans/actions related to maintenance and inspection activities, and issuing analytical reports to support senior management decisions.

Monitoring the implementation of risk-reduction plans related to maintenance and inspection and analyzing the outcomes.
-
Supervising the implementation of health, safety, and environmental plans during maintenance and inspection processes.
-
Conducting training sessions on topics related to transport technologies, maintenance, asset inspection, and risk management for engineers and technical staff.

Reviewing failure pattern analysis reports related to maintenance activities and issuing governance reports on the results to senior management.

Reviewing progress reports for the execution plans of maintenance departments and their operational performance indicators.

Keeping up with the latest advanced technologies in maintenance and inspection activities and recommending best practices.

Supervising practical experiments and tests on sustainable transport means, and submitting reports on results and lessons learned to senior management.

Supervising the implementation of circular economy activities across maintenance departments and submitting reports to senior management.

Supervising the formulation of KPI equations and targets in alignment with the global maintenance index.

Reviewing inspection activities and systems and proposing an integrated approach and KPIs at the authority level.

Providing recommendations regarding the annual maintenance budget to ensure optimal use of maintenance costs.

Reviewing and providing recommendations related to technical studies conducted by maintenance departments to improve their processes and performance results.

Performing other duties and responsibilities related to the position.
Authorities and Decisions

Execute all tasks under the direct supervision of the department manager.

Has no right to make decisions based on suggestions or proposals without instructions from the direct supervisor.

Provide guidance and professional advice to the manager.
Required Knowledge and Skills
Educational Qualification

Master’s degree in Civil, Industrial, or Electromechanical Engineering from a recognized university.
