Senior SQA Engineer

Location: On-Site, Bahria Town Phase 4 Civic Centre Islamabad

Reports To: QA Manager / Engineering Lead

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products by designing and executing test plans, identifying defects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, document, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for manual and automated testing.
• Identify, record, and track software defects using bug tracking tools.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure software quality.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and performance testing.
• Analyze test results and provide detailed feedback to development teams.
• Continuously improve testing processes and automation frameworks.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software testing.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of code quality.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience as an SQA Engineer or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG) is a plus.
• Familiarity with programming/scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript).
• Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality software.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Agile/Scrum development processes.
• Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience testing web, mobile, or cloud-based applications.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs200,000.00 - Rs250,000.00 per month
