Senior SQA Engineer

A fast paced startup Company is hiring a Senior SQA Engineer.

Job Type: Full-time, onsite

Shift Timings: 3 pm to 12 am

Location: Shahrah-e-Faisal, Karachi

Industry: AI / Fintech

Responsibilities:

· Design and execute end-to-end test plans covering the full user journey — app launch to voice conversation to financial insights

· Test real-time voice interactions via Live Kit — connection stability, audio quality, latency

· Validate financial data flows — Plaid Link, transaction ingestion, account syncing, data accuracy

· Test across the backend service mesh — API gateway, conversational AI, data services, recommendation engine

· Build and maintain automated test suites for regression, smoke, and integration testing

· Perform device-specific testing on iOS — different iPhone models, OS versions, network conditions

· Identify, document, and track bugs with clear reproduction steps and severity classification

· Collaborate with engineering to define acceptance criteria and testability requirements

Requirements:

· 4-5 years QA experience, with 2+ years focused on end-to-end and integration testing

· Experience testing iOS apps — TestFlight, real device testing, Xcode instruments

· Comfortable testing APIs and microservices (REST, WebSocket)

· Experience with test automation frameworks (XCTest, Playwright, Pytest, or similar)

· Strong understanding of real-time communication testing (audio/video, WebRTC, or similar)

· Ability to test against financial data — transactions, balances, edge cases in currency and formatting

· Excellent bug reporting — clear steps, logs, screenshots, severity assessment
