Every day, utility-scale renewable energy assets face operational risk from severe weather—hail, lightning, flooding, and wind events that damage equipment, disrupt generation, and cost operators millions. Indji Systems exists to solve that problem.

We build a specialized SaaS platform that gives solar, wind, and battery energy storage (BESS) operators the real-time natural hazard monitoring and decision-support tools they need to protect their assets. As weather volatility increases, our customers rely on us when it matters most.

The Role & Team

This is a remote, senior-level position covering both new business development and account growth across the North American renewable energy market.

Reporting directly to the VP of Sales – Americas, you will join a focused commercial team that includes Account Managers, a Marketing Specialist, and a Customer Success Representative. This is a high-visibility role with a defined trajectory toward a supervisory position within the team as we continue to scale.

You will:

● Develop new opportunities and lead strategic relationships with solar, wind, and BESS owners and operators.

● Own the full commercial relationship—from first discovery through renewal and expansion.

● Communicate the value of Indji’s platform in reducing operational risk and supporting real-time decision-making.

● Work cross-functionally with our meteorology and product teams to provide market insights that shape our product direction.

● Represent Indji at industry events and high-level customer presentations.

● Maintain a travel expectation of approximately 20–25% for meetings and industry conferences.

What We’re Looking For

● Domain Expertise: 4+ years of experience in B2B sales or account management, specifically within the renewable energy sector (Solar, Wind, or BESS).

● Commercial Edge: A "Strategic Hunter" mentality with the discipline to build a pipeline and the skills to retain a complex book of business.

● Technical Communication: The ability to translate patented technology into clear operational value for asset managers and operators.

● Self-Direction: High levels of autonomy and pipeline discipline in a remote-first environment.

Compensation and Benefits

● Base Salary: $80,000–$90,000 depending on experience.

● On-Target Earnings: $110,000–$125,000 at quota, with uncapped accelerators.

● Healthcare Support: A significant monthly stipend provided to staff towards individual health, dental, and vision coverage costs.
