Capstone Research Corporation is seeking Senior Strategy Advisor, responsible for developing, analyzing, and implementing strategic concepts, policies, and frameworks in support of the Department of War. In this role, you will lead strategy development for senior governmental leaders in support of unclassified and classified programs. You will work with company leadership to develop new lines of effort in order to diversify business across a multitude of clients to include Department of War (DoW), Department of Commerce, Federal Bureau of Investigations, and other Intelligence Community organizations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop long-term strategies aligned with national security objectives.
• Develop strategies in support of key DoW leadership, to enhance future research and engineering UDS(R&E) programs.
• Assess capability gaps and recommend future improvements and investment strategies.
• Support acquisition strategy in coordination with DoW and other agencies.
• Evaluate emerging technologies.
• Advise senior military and civilian leaders.
• Coordinate with international defense partners.
• Represent the organization at strategic defense forums and working groups.

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree in Strategic Studies, Engineering, International Relations, Defense Studies, or related field
• 20+ years of experience in Department of War programs.
• 5+ years in an Executive Leadership role, such as Vice President, President, etc.
• Experience working with Combatant Commands or allied defense organizations.
• Active security clearance (e.g., TS/SCI) or eligibility required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior Military service.
• Experience with DoW acquisition, development, policy and research and development.
• Published research or policy papers on defense strategies.
